**Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant**
- **AK Teaching are looking for multiple unqualified teaching assistants to join our partner SEND school in Spennymoor**_.

The Learning Support Assistant role will mean you are responsible for providing 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs. You will work with these students to aid in their academic, social and emotional development and confidently lead numeracy and literacy interventions to raise attainment.

The school specialises in small classes for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health learning difficulties. The role will include some behaviour management within the classroom and around the school.

**The successful individual will**:

- Be assertive, patient and motivating
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
- Have experience working with children with SEN
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £85.00-£95.00 per day
