- With a national presence, the company are a leading Innovative Packaging materials & Bespoke Packaging Solutions Provider to an array of industries. The company are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team.
**Title**:
- Key Account Manager
**Purpose of the Role**:
- To take full responsibility and accountability of day-to-day management of the Sales area and build relationships at all levels within the customers.
- Achieve sales and profits targets for your area of responsibility.
- Retain and grow all existing customers.
- Secure profitable new business within the Target Market sectors and/or Gap in existing sales area.
- To have a full understanding of the customers and contract agreements ensure delivery against any agreed Service Level Agreement.
- Develop account plans for the account portfolio that will be aligned to the Value Proposition, deliver a programme of added value service and a clear communication strategy to the customers
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Deliver Account plans to offer company the best opportunity of retaining and growing customer contracts.
- Have a clear understanding of customer requirements and ensure any SLAs are delivered
- Create and deliver performance reviews.
- Retention of the existing customers to maximise sales revenue, new product categories and profitability.
- Monitor customer’s sales performance in terms of their contribution and profitability. Work closely with commercial analyst to monitor trend analytics.
- Establish and develop relationships with customers at all levels and where needed look for support from senior leadership in company. See customer engagement matrix.
- Identify any issues in the client relationship and implement corrective actions through regular reviews.
- Negotiate long term agreements with the existing customers.
- Drive existing customer Strategies through to conclusion.
- Secure profitable new customers focussing on the Target Market sectors and/or Gap.
- Work with other departments within company on the design and implementation of value-added products and services to the customers.
- Support purchasing team to ensure you deliver best value to both the customers and company.
- Support collection of outstanding debts within the agreed terms.
- Ensure any slow-moving stock lines are addressed.
- Ongoing competitor analysis.
- Monthly reporting of sales activity and business results.
- Participate in business projects as and when required.

Can demonstrate knowledge of accounts contribution to the wider business both on performance, profit and ways of working.

- Monitors and manages own time to ensure daily objectives are met. Develops and improves procedures in agreement with line manager. Accepts additional challenges and responsibilities willingly and assists others.

Arranges work schedules and prioritises work to meet deadlines. Seeks clarification and approval where appropriatebefore commences new projects or working methods.

- Willingness to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of role. Use of initiative to ensure tasks are completed. Supportive of manager and wider team goals and objectives
Technical Skills
- Computer Literate, numerate, attention to detail, logical and methodical approach to work.

**Salary**:
- Up to £50,000 depending on experience plus car & bonus.
