Norwich, United Kingdom St Giles Trust Full time

**Job Summary**:
Are you a proactive, compassionate and target-driven individual with a proven record of delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support the resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system? Looking for an exciting and rewarding new career opportunity?

Then join St Giles as a **Women’s Wellbeing Coach**, where you will deliver vital holistic and trauma-informed women’s services to community offenders and prison leavers across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, North Yorkshire, and Durham who have been referred via the National Probation Service.

**About St Giles**

An ambitious, well-established charity that helps people facing adversity to find jobs, homes and the right support they need. Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.

**About this exciting opportunity**

Working as a key part of a multi-agency team, you will focus on providing person-centred support to a caseload of service users (female adults), serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will be expected to complete trauma-informed assessments and develop, in collaboration with the service user, action plans which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

After creating a safe and trusting environment, you will also deliver a range of interventions which contribute towards the achievement of prescribed outcomes, including group work sessions where required. You will also develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies and provide vital support and supervision to volunteer Peer Advisors. Providing additional out of office phone-line support is a key part of this role, as is representing the St Giles Wise partnership in all external meetings, including conferences and seminars.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience of working with young adults and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes
- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people or those with complex and multiple needs
- A strong background in the delivery of one-to-one and group coaching solutions
- A sound understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload
- The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, person-led and innovative support
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Full UK Driving License with access to a vehicle for work or the ability to travel within the area.

In return, you can expect a competitive salary, generous leave allowance, staff pension, flexible working, a mentoring programme, an advice and counselling service, access to clinical supervisions, season ticket loan and much more.

**Closing date: 11pm, 01**st** March 2023. Interview: 13**th** March 2023.**

St Giles will guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria set out in the Job Description for the vacancy
