Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be partnering a well-established travel brand in their search for a Travel Coordinator to join their growing team.

As a Travel Coordinator your primary responsibility is to passionately engage with customers through various channels. You will qualify and warm new leads by providing excellent customer service and understand their travel preferences.

**The role**:

- Passionately exceed customer expectations by utilising your travel knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Craft exceptional travel experiences, paying attention to every detail.
- Act as the initial point of contact for new enquiries, qualify and warm new leads by employing excellent customer service skills to understand customers' wants and needs.
- Engage with customers across various channels, responding to enquiries and calls, while working towards customer service targets and using effective communication to encourage repeat business.
- Participate in travel-related administrative and analytical tasks to enhance destination knowledge in preparation to be promoted to the role of a Travel Specialist

**You will have**:

- Experience within a Customer Service role
- Have great organisational and multitasking abilities
- Be proficient at using Outlook
- Be self-motivated and goal orientated
- Have a calm and professional manner when talking to customers

**Additional information**:

- Hybrid working arrangement from their office in Stevenage
- Weekend work required with one guaranteed weekend off a month

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £17,093.39-£22,500.00 per year
