Job Description

As a Business Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. You will be responsible for carrying out the coordination, administration, and delivery of tasks that support our business, including, but not limited to, meetings, purchasing, reporting, onboarding new starters, and other administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities and DutiesIT Support
  • Manage and liaise with our IT support provider for any IT issues raised.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Set up and issue IT assets to new staff (e.g. laptops, mobile phones), liaising with our IT support provider for any IT issues raised.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Manage software licenses.
  • Set up accounts for new users.
  • Take responsibility for documenting procedures and processes to support IT.
  • Assist in implementing backup and recovery protocols.
  • Help develop training materials, including manuals, quick reference guides, and online documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining local servers and participating in disaster recovery operations.
Office Administration and Coordination
  • Take ownership of administration and implementation in various internal projects across all departments.
  • Update internal contact information as required.
  • Update the Document Management System and format approved documentation to company branding.
  • Issue and source DSE equipment, office supplies, etc.
  • Use online Health & Safety system to carry out and record Risk Assessments and other Health & Safety information as required.
  • Assist in staff office and furniture moves.
  • Maintain and replenish office supplies (e.g. kitchen area, stationery, DSE items, etc).
  • Book hotels and travel as required.
  • Perform reception duties, welcoming guests and organizing refreshments.
  • Manage meeting room diaries.
  • Ensure a consistently clean and tidy office environment.
  • Set up meetings within Outlook or Teams as required.
  • Perform any other duties that may arise within the needs of the business.
  • Manage information and produce documents, using spreadsheets, documents, and presentations to company branded guidelines and templates.
Apprenticeship
  • Level 3 IT solutions technician standard delivered via virtual learning platform sessions, with support from specialist trainers and 121 skills coaches and our learning platform 'Aptem' where you will complete the learning on program.
