Prospectus is delighted to be working with The Printing Charity to recruit a Communications and Engagement Officer who will play an important role in delivering cross-discipline communications activity for all the charity's key products and services.

Established in 1827, The Printing Charity is the national charity for people in printing, publishing, packaging, paper and the graphic arts. The UK's second oldest occupational charity, they provide practical, emotional and financial support to people who work or have worked in our sector.

The main responsibilities of this role include the implementation of communications and events activity to support and achieve the charity's core organisational objectives. You will be responsible for the production and delivery of creative, meaningful campaigns, materials and content to communicate the charity's work and reach, engage and grow specific audiences. The role will also include being responsible for marketing, logístical and operational events management for the charity's three major annual events: the Rising Star Awards, the AGM, and the Annual Luncheon.

To be successful as a Communications and Engagement Officer, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar marketing/communications/events role. You will be able to plan and deliver tailored, effective content for specific audiences and to achieve specific objectives. You will have some experience of content production and creative thought for integrated marketing activity. Overall, you will have solid end-to-end comms campaign management experience, proven experience in writing effective communications and excellent attention to detail.
