**Customer Support Advisor**

**Office based role - This is not a remote/hybrid role**

**Immediate start available**

**Up to £24,000 per annum **dependent** on experience**

**Job Summary**

Due to continuous development and growth of the business, we are recruiting for an additional team member for our Customer Support Team delivering remote technical support and upgrades to customers and supporting the business with on-site IT requirements. This role also involves supporting our inhouse printing bureau team when required, during peak times and periods of annual leave.

**The jo**b role involves**:
**Technical Support**
- Plastic card printers
- Card management software
- Card readers
- Scanners
- Hardware and software upgrades
- Updating internal systems with full details of support plans and support given
- Maintenance of online support directory of documents and guides
- Internal hardware upgrades
- Liaise with external technical support teams
- Setting up workstations for new colleagues
- Occasional visits to customer sites may be required, but are not the norm

**Rental Printers**
- Managing the printer rental operation:

- Ensuring all printers are maintained, stored and logged correctly
- Arranging shipping and collection from customers
- Providing remote set and support for rental customers
- Following quarantine, repair and EOL procedures

**Card Printing Bureau**
- This role will provide essential support to our internal card printing bureau. This involves:

- Producing customer card designs in CardExchange, Illustrator, InDesign and/or Photoshop
- Printing and proofing customer orders
- Managing customer and card data
- Maintaining the desktop printing machines

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar technical support role (essential)
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Customer service, troubleshooting and analytical skills for both hardware and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office 365
- Mac OSX (desirable)
- Minimum 3 years general business experience (desirable)
- Experience of using Photoshop or similar graphics package (desirable)
- Card management software: CardExchange, CardPresso, EasyBadge, Badgemaker (desirable but this will be trained internally and with manufacturers/suppliers)
