Events Assistant

Platinum Property Partners are looking for an Events Assistant to support with delivering exceptional events and learning opportunities for its members. Ensuring research and logistics for events are planned and delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.

Our team run major Franchise Partner events and produce great training and coaching content to support our partner community to learn and develop their skill set. **The role**
You will be working as an integral and collaborative part of the team by supporting the Head of Events to deliver exceptional training and networking hybrid events. This role will support the administration processes of event promotion, development and delivery of event solutions which inspire our Partners to learn, develop and grow.
The administration duties could include research, copywriting, creating engaging and informative content around events, liaising with speakers, compiling slide decks, including internal and guest speakers, and ensuring all documents are up to date, correctly branded and uploaded/filed where required.
Other responsibilities include;
- Support with the completion of detailed planning proposals and briefs
- Supporting with scheduling of dates, booking of venues, hotels, or setting up on-line events.
- Supporting with the full event planning including schedules, catering and Health and safety
- Inviting delegates, communicating and coordination of pre-event joining details - Liaising with contractors to ensure the safe and on time delivery of events
- Carrying out all administration task for the events function of the business.
- Creating event documentation such as PowerPoints and working with the marketing team on marketing materials for events such as brochures, flyers, banners, name badges etc.
- Attending events to ensure all equipment and requirements are at the highest standard.
- Supporting with budgeting and invoicing of all events ensuring events are delivered on time and within the budget range.
**What you bring to the role**:
- Excellent level of computer literacy, including Outlook and all Microsoft Office functions - Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and resilient with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- A reflective and committed approach to own professional and personal development
As part of the role, you need to hold a valid UK driving licence and be available for travel and quarterly overnight stays to support with running events outside of the Bournemouth area.
