**Job Introduction**
**The automotive industry is undergoing its biggest transformation, moving from a product to service centred approach. Mercedes is determined to be at the forefront of this transformation, revolutionising every step of the customers journey with the onsite dealership at its heart.**
The role of a Compliance Administrator will have the responsibility for ensuring that all vehicles are administered and managed, using various systems, to meet legal and regulatory requirements for both Mercedes Benz and Inchcape. This position will be responsible for managing the administration of new vehicles including the vehicle registration process, back of house process through one agent, one admin and one finance, processing of insurance documents, finance proposals and acceptance, processing purchases and bringing into stock direct purchases, part exchanges and trade stock.
The role will also be responsible for overseeing, recording and management of the FCA compliance process, including audits, paperwork processes, management and storage of document attaining to process.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Processing of new vehicle orders, invoices and administration using various Mercedes Benz systems, both internally and externally with the OEM and customers
- Taxation of new vehicles in line with the DVLA and Mercedes Benz process including VRS audits, including change of keeper notices for DVLA
- Facilitating payments as required including vehicle settlements, third party payments, customer refunds and goodwill payments.
- Provide support to other departments on matters related to vehicle administration and compliance including the used car administration hub
- Work with the sales manager and customer experience manger to maintain and manage various systems, accurate records for transactions and processes including compliance to group FCA regulations and audit requirements
- Work with the team to submit and process finance proposals and feedback information of proposed outcomes within FCA compliance and regulations, including One Finance administration
- Managing and updating customer data in various systems as requested and in line with GDPR preferences
- Manage and complete vehicle stock takes in line with Inchcape group policies
- Maintaining VSB records on internal systems including, New, Used & Trade stocks
- F&P product registration, ensuring that all products are registered within the correct time frame
- Assist with Daily operating control management and reconciliation
- Ensure trade vehicle packs are complete at point of collection
- Understanding of sales administration and processes would be beneficial
- Eye for detail and ability to work with multiple systems
- Good communication and Organisational skills
- Ability to act independently and with initiative
- Working as part of a team
- Previous experience in the motor trade would be an advantage, so you have a go
