Neway are looking for a Housing Improvement Assistance Programme Co-Ordinator to join our client based with Lewisham Council.

This role is starting 18th Dec, working Mon to Fri 35 hours a week initially for a 3 month contract that will be extended after review.

Pay Rate is £16.84 p/h PAYE

**Requirements**:

- Basic DBS required
- Strong Business Support Administration skills essential
- Public Sector experience preferable but not essential as long as the skills are transferrable
- Will be dealing with telephone enquiries so frontline experience and first point of contact experience essential
- Experience in processing payments essential
- Working within Home Improvement Service ensuring that disabled facilities and home improvement grants are administered whilst supporting the team and the client throughout the process.
- Data Processing

Main Purpose of the job:
To co-ordinate the delivery of all Private Sector Housing Services which includes:

- Assisting in the effective delivery of relevant statutory obligations
- Responding to enquiries from homeowners, private landlords, tenants, and vulnerable client groups regarding grants and home improvements.
- Providing customer advice and assistance on matters relating to grants, home improvements. Providing effective administrative services which support the smooth and efficient running of the service.
- Maintain databases to enable monitoring of casework across the unit.

**Salary**: £16.84 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
