**About The Role**:
Avery Healthcare’s new HR team are looking to expand by recruiting 2 HR Advisors to join their team and report to the HR Business Partners and HR Director.
As one of the largest care home providers in the UK, the HR team is essential in providing support to our teams and residents by ensuring they have the best life possible with Avery Healthcare. You will be responsible for providing first level advice to home managers on routine people issues and following HR policies and procedures to support your dedicated and hard working colleagues in the home.
No two days are the same at Avery Healthcare, as part of the role you will also be responsible for employee life cycle activities for a defined geographic region and central office, processing these changes on a monthly basis. You will love keeping up to date with your homes and be passionate about our values of being Proud, Supportive and Caring.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Provide template letters to managers and proactively ensure cases and queries are closed off, maintaining up to date and accurate records and trackers which will be shared with the wider HR team and the operations team.
- Home manager and central office recruitment, payroll and onboarding activities (recruitment checks, offer letters, contracts).
- Completing Occupational Health referrals
- Manage Home Manager and above payroll including the addition of new starters and deduction of leavers, in line with payroll cut off.
- Coordinating the recruitment and onboarding processes for Home Manager level and above, including the preparation of offer letters, contract of employments organising relevant IT equipment and company vehicles.
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance with the Company recruitment processes including the completion of DBS, Right to Work and PIN checks, both prior and following appointment into role.
- Sharing weekly recruitment updates with the operations and wider HR teams.
- Liaising with the Company’s Occupational Heath Advisors for all pre-employment medical checks.
- Regular dialogue with all key stakeholders to ensure all Home Manager and above personnel files are maintained and up to date.
- Monitor Home Manager and Regional Manager absence (and holidays) ensuring correct processes are followed and highlighting any unacceptable levels of absence to the relevant HR Business Partner.
- Supporting the HR Business Partners with the change management process, collating Employee Liability Information and undertaking mail merges.
- Preparation of all HR correspondence including but not limited to contract amends, maternity and employee relations letters.
- Maintain Management information including exit interviews and leavers information for key populations including Home Managers.
