**Summary of role**
The Learning Solutions Partner is a proactive business development and engagement role, focused on delivering revenue and growth targets across a range of Babington’s product portfolio, supporting employers and learners to Develop Better Futures.
This role is all about consultative selling and building meaningful relationships with clients. As a Learning Solutions Partner success will come from identifying new clients/employers within a defined market industry sector and/or geography, of all sizes, cultivating relationships, and developing sales opportunities across our portfolio of learning solutions, including funded apprenticeships and commercial professional qualifications.
As a Learning Solutions Partner you will be responsible for becoming an expert in your allocated market industry sector and/or geography, identifying, pursuing, and converting your own leads (hunting) and providing best-in-class account management to existing relationships, maximising the full potential (farming).
**Principle Accountabilities**:
- To achieve and exceed core business sales targets (in terms of value and profit) across Babington’s portfolio of learning solutions encompassing apprenticeships, and commercial professional qualifications.
- To develop and maintain your defined market sector and/or geographical region and individual sales strategy with operational business development activity plans, working closely with the Growth Manager and marketing colleagues to develop and execute proactive, relevant, and engaging campaigns.
- To achieve and exceed core growth KPIs and SLAs focused on a timely, quality and compliance driven employer/learner enrolment journey to aide in reliable predictable performance.
- To be responsible for providing market leading insight to new opportunities, consulting with employers of all sizes to identify and analyse training and talent problem statements and objectives, responding with relevant solutions from our full portfolio of products and services.
- To generate and execute an ongoing new business pipeline from warm and cold leads, assisting in the development of an on-going employer/client acquisition strategy.
- To generate and execute exceptional account management activity, to capitalise on opportunities to develop relationships with employers/clients into key accounts.
- To undertake and support effective Organisational Needs Analysis, co-designing and developing responsive workforce development and training pathways with employers/clients.
- To develop commercial propositions, proposals, and presentations for employers/clients to a high standard, both face-to-face and written.
- To provide client management services to all employers/clients, including the provision of support with feedback on delivery, processes, and progress.
- To work collaboratively with fellow growth peers towards the achievement of the department’s targets, whilst endorsing Babington’s strategic goals and core values; in turn embodying our customer promise and service Pillars through high integrity, consultative and solutions orientated sales.

**Essential Qualifications**:
- Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
- Commercial sales, IAG or recruitment qualification or willingness to undertake
**Skills and experience**:
- Extensive Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) experience
- Experience in sales, recruitment or marketing
- Experience of consultative selling approach
- Experience of learning and development solutions _(desired, but not essential)_
- Experience of lead generation, cultivation and conversion
- Ability to work within a target driven commercial environment
- Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction
- Experience of managing databases / CRM systems for lead generation.
- Experience self-motivating to achieve KPIs and targets
- Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people
- Effective negotiation skills
