Electronic Resources Senior Assistant

We are seeking to recruit a part time Senior Electronic Resources Assistant to work in the Bodleian Osney One Building at Osney Mead. The position is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of Electronic Resources across the university.

You will be responsible for the purchase and Maintenance of Electronic Resources across the University of Oxford, and in addition will help to answer enquiries on the busy ER helpdesk (online), and also to help with the collation of user statistics which are needed annually in August.

You must have good written and oral communication skills to liaise with staff, academics and students at Oxford as well as suppliers and publishers worldwide. You must possess a good knowledge of online technical skills such as SFX, ezyproxy, and electronic resource management in Alma or another ERM, with a knowledge of different browsers and operating systems. You must also have the ability to read and understand licenses for electronic resources.
