As Office Coordinator, you'd be helping to run and lead key areas of a busy, multi-faceted business admin team, as well as supporting the needs of other departments.

This means that you'll be performing hands-on work as well as steering and supporting junior staff.

You'll work closely with the Commercial Manager, so benefit from excellent training and support.

You will also be required to provide management cover for the Commercial Manager as necessary.

**The role**:
This role has been newly created to support the Commercial Manager. The team is multi-functional and supports all operational areas of the business.

Likely areas of work could include:

- Service delivery
- Finance and bookkeeping
- Business operations support and company related activities
- Purchasing and stock control
- HR administration, recruitment and training
- Supplier and customer liaison
- Health and safety administration
- Facilities management
- Data and management information
- Project management
- Critical systems and equipment support

You will need the have the following:

- GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths as a minimum
- experience of working in an office environment or a related degree (2:1 or above)
- experience of leading people or projects (preferred)
- good skills in the following areas:
Numeracy
Attention to detail
IT
Communication - written and verbal
Organisation
- Driver’s license and access to own vehicle (preferred)

**Our Business**

Our business has been successfully operating in Sunderland for over 20 years and continues to grow. We currently employ 30+ staff and are looking to recruit more key people to help meet the ever increasing demand.

Given the constant evolution of the business, there may be times when you will need to learn new skills as needed. You will be expected to think outside of the box, question the norm and drive through change as opportunities for improvement present themselves.

**Hours of work**:
This is a full-time position working a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

**Location**:
This is an office based role. Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.

**Salary**:
Up to £30,000 per annum, depending upon experience
