STEM Recruitment Solutions is working with our packaging client based in Sunderland to have a Quality and Safety Coordinator join their team As a Quality and Safety Coordinator you'll play a vital role in maintaining the company's Quality and Hygiene Management System. Collaborate closely with the site management team to ensure compliance with standards and consistently deliver safe, high-quality products to our customers.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with certification bodies, organise audits, and address non-conformances to ensure compliance with certification standards.
- Collaborate with the QHSE Manager to review and enhance quality management systems.
- Manage internal audit and self-inspection programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing a robust CAPA Program.
- Maintain calibration records, arrange equipment servicing, and conduct traceability exercises.

**Role Requirements**:

- Experience with BRC Food Standards.
- Experience working a quality role within food packaging or food production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, time management, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities and attention to detail.

**Role Benefits**:

- Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience
- Hours of Work: 08:00-16:00 Monday - Friday. No weekends. (Flexibility within these hours)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
