We are looking for an experience Senior Manager to join our QHSE team in order to support the current Battery Plant operation and development of a new world class and innovative mass manufacturing Gigafactory. This is a unique opportunity to join one of themost exciting, large scale industrial developments in many years, where new and emerging technologies will be adopted in support of the rapidly growing electric vehicle marketplace
**The opportunity**
As QHSE Senior Manager, you will have the ability to create and lead a team of professionals to review, develop and roll-out coordinated compliance strategies (including COMAH standards) from initial set up to supporting the running of a mass production facility.You will undertake a review of existing policies, processes and procedures to ensure they meet the needs for a large battery manufacturing business.As a crucial part of the senior management team, you will provide advice, guidance and effective challengethroughout the business to continue to raise the profile of process safety management, behavioural safety, health & wellbeing, security and emergency response.
**About you**
Within a minimum NEBOSH Diploma, as an experienced Health & Safety Manager you will have proven experience in the development of an effective health & safety strategy and plan to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding business.You previous experience gainedon a COMAH or REACH compliant site will enable you to truly understand what good looks like, whilst your well developed communication skills will enable you to build effective relationships as part of the Senior Management Team to challenge and influence strategicdecisions but still engage effectively with the shop floor.Any experience in support large complex construction projects would be advantageous.
