Integration Coordinator

The Growth Company’s (GC) Progression into Inclusive Employment team (PtIE) has an exciting opportunity for an Integration Coordinator who will engage with key stakeholders to champion integration and engagement in Greater Manchester. The role will work closely with each Local Authority, Jobcentre Plus (JCP) and voluntary/ 3rd sector services to aid participant progression towards work.
We help to make a lasting difference in the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment. Our highly skilled advisers and key workers work with a range of individuals, from people who have found themselves recently out of work to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health and debt.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- The first point of contact for all local integration & engagement with specific responsibility to develop local integration plans with Local Leads
- Working in partnership with the Community Engagement Officers to deliver effective engagement and meet referral targets
- Brokering and managing relationships with the Borough level partners
- Ensuring our services are transparent and report to identified local Integration Boards and helping establish a multi-agency support team approach to service integration & engagement
- Managing a portfolio of external agencies and partners to ensure they provide the highest level of service for participants
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with JCP, providing relevant management information to support their monitoring of both flow and eligibility
- Liaising regularly with JCP Work Coaches and other partners to ensure accuracy and volume of referrals
- Facilitating welcome sessions for new participants, as agreed with partners
- Provide feedback to referral partners to demonstrate “good news stories” of progression and/or outcomes.
- Support partners in the identification of economically inactive residents and undertaking activity to evaluate and respond to any trends leading to (dis)engagement patterns
- Arranging and facilitating focus groups with participants to drive continuous improvement
- Proactively seek to engage services that meet the needs and barriers of our participants, with the aim of accelerating the progression.
**About you**:
- Work with a range of agencies to promote and disseminate information in order to generate referrals.
- Organising and coordination of a range of promotional events
- Knowledge of the barriers faced by families with multiple barriers to employment and progression towards employment
- Experience with administrative systems to record participant progression
- A warm, outgoing, and approachable style to build relationships and rapport with a range of organisations and participants
**Skills Required**:
- Must have excellent interpersonal and promotional skills, telephone manner, good organisational skills and excellent IT skills
- Ability to work to challenging targets and key performance indicators
- Able to obtain information and record information accurately with a high level of attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work, including willingness to travel and work outside of office hours
- The ability to work under pressure in a highly performance-driven environment
- To work effectively as part of a team and willingness to undertake training as required
