**Job Purpose**

Reporting directly to the Head of HR. The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. The HR Coordinator will be required to facilitate daily HR functions, such as keeping track of employee’s records and scheduling interviews. The position will involve supporting every aspect of our key HR processes and the employee career life cycle.

The position will also involve performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s people and talent pipeline, and to improve our sourcing tactics, in conjunction with the HR Business Partner.

This will be a busy and varied role, with the initial focus being on helping to deliver our recruitment plans with the Talent Acquisition Team, and to help the Head of HR develop systems and processes within the workplace.

This position will also be responsible for producing contract and offer letters for the business.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- First line of support for Managers and employees on queries such as holiday, policy information, and general queries
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (employee records, payroll, personal information, holiday records)
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, finance, procurement) on HR admin tasks
- Support the recruitment/hiring and on-boarding process by scheduling interviews, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc
- Assist and guide the management team in where to locate information and procedures
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain the HR Calendar
- Perform orientations, support Managers with onboarding new employees and update records with new hires
- Produce contract packs and offer letters, and submit reports/KPI data on general HR activity, as required
- Assist in HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
- Support other functions with Admin tasks, as assigned

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Essential criteria**
- Experience of working in a similar role, at a similar level
- Experience of producing and writing contracts and offer letters (and the foundations of an employment contract)
- CIPD level 3 or equivalent experience
- A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills
- Ability to be proactive and plan work in advance
- Able to work pro-actively and problem solve
- Organised and efficient in managing work tasks - self starter
- Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal - across a variety of stakeholders
- Resilient, with the ability to coordinate several tasks and work priorities, in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to learn and improve

**Desirable criteria**
- Knowledge of human resource processes and best practice
- Experience of working with HR data and an ATS
- Ability to identify improvements and implement the changes with limited supervision
- Strong commitment and work ethic to maintaining standards
- Flexibility in approach and uses own initiative to change direction as needed Reliability to deliver on time and in full
