Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Be the primary owner and contact to the EVP of Arts, Culinary, Entertainment & Exhibitions and their senior leadership team
- Be the owner of the entire BU Finance function from AR and AP right to strategic planning and delivery
- Manage the team to provide support to Event Directors and other budget holders through tracking, review and reconciliation of budgets on a continuous basis, enabling accurate reporting at all times
- Ownership of the division’s cash flows, working with IMG’s AR function in the management and collection of AR balances and appropriately managing the outflow of cash in relation to AP balances
- Ownership of month/quarter/year end process and reporting for the division
- Maintain a reconciled and accurate balance sheet
- Supply relevant information to Corporate Controllers throughout audit process and preparation of statutory accounts
- Provide regular and ad hoc management reporting for decision-making - trend, variance & sensitivity analysis
- Ownership of the full budgeting and forecasting process for the division, including presentation to Co-President of IMG Events and On Location
- Own and maintain various relationships across the broader business, including Event Directors, Transactional Finance, Legal and HR
- Business partnering the business unit lead, building and maintaining a trusted relationship in order to provide support and insight for business/commercial decision making
- Coordination/oversight of at event work including banking, cash management, on site reporting and any other onsite finance assistance that may be required
- Support the wider finance team in the development and implementation of improved finance processes and controls

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc
- Will be required to work occasionally outside of standard working hours or at weekends at events

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory
- Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Office)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility
- Strong commercial awareness

- Event experience
- Experience with SAP

Qualifications and Training

- 6 + years PQE - ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent
