Account Manager

We are working with a fast-growing retail and FMCG company based in the Midlands to assist with the recruitment of an Account Manager.
The main purpose of the role will be to effectively manage the relationship with existing key retail customers, aiming to retain the customers, grow the business and achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
As an Account Manager you will be:
- Executing client management in cooperation with the business development in such a way that the customer expectations are met and identify opportunities within services and solutions.
- Regularly visiting assigned clients (retailers)
- Addressing any conflicts in case of complaints and/or customer dissatisfaction.
- Carrying on negotiations and set up and maintain contracts.
- Managing and controlling the execution of the contracts to ensure they are properly executed.
- Defining sales and administrative procedures for the projects.
- Executing contract management and corrective actions.
- Coordinating activities to maximize the customer satisfaction and standardization of work processes and minimize the misuse of products and services.
- Monitoring the use and if needed take action to prevent misuse of products and services.
- Making business analysis, participate in the development of overall commercial strategy and take ownership of the selling process in order to acquire new business.
- Ensuring external communication from commercial point of view.
- Proposing innovative ideas to improve the commercial performance of the company.
- Ensuring financial criteria are met and business risks are managed properly.
The successful Account Manager will have:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in Account Management preferably on Logistic/Supply Chain working environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management experience
- Advanced Excel knowledge
