Qualified Financial Controller for a SME business based in Alcester. Hands on role managing the A-Z.
**Your new company**
Hays are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a growing and innovative manufacturing organisation who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller. The company have a T/O of circa £10 million and have ambitious growth plans.
**Your new role**
As the newly appointed Financial Controller you will take responsibility for managing a team of 4 and report directly into the Finance Director. The company are growing and this is a newly created role to support these plans. You will work closely with theFinance Director and develop the day to day finance functions.
Key duties include dealing with the year end accounts, liaising with the auditors and all statutory requirements. You will also produce the monthly management accounts and deal with stock. This is a hands on role and you will also deal with the VAT, overseecash flow and work with the banks and investors. The company are also about to scope out a new accountancy software and this role will be involved in the implementation and then subsequent roll out.
The company are based in lovely offices and the role will be 5 days per week in the office but some flexibility can be offered on occasion.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant who is hands on and is looking to join a interesting and growing SME organisation. You will have strong excel skills and be happy to work in the office 5 days per week. You will already be experienced in managing smallteams and be able to work in a hands on and busy environment.
