This role is perfect for a Platform Lift Surveyor looking to progress their career and expand their lift engineering portfolio further.

**The Platform Lift Surveyor**
This role is central to the heart of this lift engineering company. The efficiency of these Platform Lift Surveyors will aid the turnaround of each lift installation project. This will ensure market-leading customer service from enquiry through to lift installation and aftercare. You will be on hand to answer technical questions and offer advice to both the lift installation team and the end customer.
Essentially you are the face of this highly respected and well-established lift engineering company.
You'll find a fully flexible offering that means you can manage your own diary to service your own client area. This will allow you to broker and develop your relationships whilst representing this lift engineering company. You will work in a variety of interesting environments and you will have control over your own work/life balance.
This **Platform Lift Surveyor **role allows you to develop your mechanical engineering skills further and work for a market-leading lift engineering provider with National and International coverage

**What will the Platform Lift Surveyor be doing?**
- You'll start with industry-leading, bespoke training and move swiftly to carrying out hands-on statutory inspections, providing your expert opinion on a wide range of commercial and residential sites prior to any lift installation works.
- Following your inspection, we'll need you to report back using a laptop, and then issue electronically to our clients, so good IT skills and high levels of literacy are required.
- You will be an excellent communicator, and confident in your ability to make sound engineering judgements.

**Ideally, the Platform Lift Surveyor will have obtained**:

- A Level 4 qualification (HND / HNC etc.) in a relevant engineering field, support is available to allow you to achieve IEng status whilst working as we want to help you gain professional membership.
- Either a time served or Modern Apprenticeship i.e NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 in a Lift Engineering discipline
- Hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline
- A background in working with lifts and/or crane equipment would be an advantage, as hands-on experience working in a role such as manufacturing/repair/maintenance/mechanical/motor trade.
