We are looking for passionate people to join our Mitie team that delivers exceptional every day; we offer a great place to work with many benefits.

In your new role as a General Service Mate, you will be working within a team of two and undertake the operation of Forklift Truck driving, lifting and shifting, grounds including weeding, grass and hedge cutting, driving and delivering around site, being involved in all waste streams and working from job cards within a health and safety conscious environment. Your duties will vary from day to day. There is regular overtime at weekends and also be part of the on site emergency team.

**Qualifications**:
In order to be successful in this role, you'll need a Counterbalance license and 3 months forklift operative experience is preferred, a full driving licence. Communicative English is essential, and you may be required to take an English language assessment. You'll need to have good organisational skills, be detail conscious, work from your own initiative and have excellent time management skills. You must be able to complete appropriate documentation and fall into the required shift pattern as deemed suitable to meet contractual requirements. You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test, also a full SC clearance is required once the DBS check has been complete.
