**Salary**:Band: 8 £32,020 - £34,722 p.a. (£25,616 - £27,777 for 29.60 hours)
29.6 hours per week including evenings and weekends as required. Working days/times to be discussed at interview.

**Your New Role**
The D-Day Story is the only UK museum dedicated to telling the events of 6th June 1944 using objects, interactives and video from the perspectives and accounts of those who were there. Divided into three distinct parts the museum includes LCT 7074, the last surviving landing craft tank which carried ten tanks to Normandy on D-Day and The Overlord Embroidery.
Although a demanding and challenging role, this is also a great opportunity to work within a varied and rewarding environment and contribute to ensuring the history of D-Day continues to be shared with as wider audience as possible.
**What you'll need to succeed**
With a passion for the D-Day story you will have a track record of using museum collections to engage and inspire. You will have experience of creating, hands-on delivery and coordinating of events programmes appealing to a diverse audience. With excellent communication, organisational and project management skills, you will have experience of use of digital media to inform and engage including the management of social media platforms. You will need to be flexible, able to work evenings and weekends to facilitate delivery of events and be able to lift and carry boxes of objects.
