We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and analytical Digital Marketing Officer and team player with experience and proven track record of working in a busy service or product led environment. We expect you to have a personal as well as a professional interest in digital marketing and bring new ideas and ways of working to the team. With many high profile campaigns to work on, including Destination Marketing and major events, this is a great opportunity to join Swansea Council's Destination Management and Marketing team at a very exciting time.
Possessing excellent communications skills, the Digital Marketing Officer will be part of a digital team and work with the Senior Digital Marketing Officer to deliver our ongoing digital transformation. A big part of which, will include you providing a pivotal role in ensuring key marketing messages are communicated across platforms to target audiences. You will provide significant input into developing creative and innovative marketing campaigns and solutions to ensure the achievement of financial and non-financial targets.
We have enjoyed a high level of progression in our digital campaigns in recent years, and are able to execute high quality content and design in house. Strong technical skills including web development experience for WordPress and server knowledge would be considered an asset to the team and is highly desirable, along with the ability to identify, monitor and evaluate paid for campaigns across a variety of platforms.
