British Gas is undergoing a series of transformational projects across Energy and Service & Solutions. We are changing the system and operational landscape to deliver greater efficiency and value for our customers.

**What will you do?**
- Understand and contribute to the overall company strategy in relation to large transformation projects.
- Represent users who will use and gain benefit from change projects either as a product owner or SME.
- Work with business analysts, product owners and operational leads to ensure customer and business needs are clearly articulated and understood.
- Be a voice for process owners / users to communicate to the Change and Project Management Teams.
- Own the asset tracking & supply chain roadmap for feature development, cost reduction and performance of the product you manage. Includes managing and prioritising bug fixes and resolutions.
- Support the design and delivery of features with continuous backlog prioritisation to achieve key business events.
- Set/approve acceptance criteria for all delivery items working closely with QA testing teams.
- Analyse, assess, and monitor to ensure key deliverables are implemented per design.
- Continuously seek user, business feedback, and champion resolution of pain points to maintain a class product
- Deliver where required the training and demonstrations of new platforms and processes to support the successful rollout.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Previous experience as a business change SME/Product Owner.
- Experience in metering or supply chain desirable.
- Experience of defining and briefing clear business requirements, working closely with Technology delivery and Digital design teams.
- Experience of working with outsourced partners or SaaS products desirable.
- Experience of working with agile and lean methodologies, desirable.
- The ability to work effectively and influence business outcomes within a virtual team, dedicated towards delivering specific products or projects.
- Strong ability to prioritise across different streams of activity, balancing customer, and business value with level of complexity and speed of delivery.
- Flexibility to travel as and when required on an ad-hoc basis.
