Supply Chain Transformation Lead

To take our Supply Chain to the next level, we are looking to hire a Supply Chain Transformation Lead to help deliver the Supply Chain vision and strategy. As the Supply Chain Transformation Lead, you will help drive the delivery of the Target Operating Model and capabilities, we need to deliver a step change in performance and ensure the supply chain is future ready for new products, propositions and the Net Zero Agenda. You will drive a number of Supply Chain initiatives simultaneously.

**Key Accountabilities**

Strategy & Design
- Utilise expertise and knowledge of existing Logistic & Supply Chain processes and operating model to help determine the right future design and develop a future state which can be deployed across our business
- Use skills in strategic level problem solving in complex environments to determine appropriate supply chain solutions based on sound understanding of the business
- Work with the Supply Chain Transformation team to carry out market analysis and benchmark best practices that can be applied to the Centrica supply chain
- Collect and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of existing business processes to develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements
- Determine how new technologies can support re-engineering of business processes and ways of working to improve the effectiveness of the supply chain and field engineering teams
- Identify cross functional improvements, define problem statements, and build clear business cases
- Translate voice of the engineer and customer and ensure they are included in within supply chain solutions
- Work closely with Commercial, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to understand future product and propositions and the capabilities the supply needed to fulfil them at scale

**Planning**
- Work closely with the workstream leads to Consolidate, prioritise, and drive progress of the various transformation initiatives and ensuring the overall plan achieves our strategic goals
- Ensure interdependencies in and between each initiative are clearly identified and managed
- There is a robust handover process from design to deployment which includes working with deployment team to ensure successful implementation
- Monitor and escalate risks through the management of the programme risk register (RAID Log)
- Support the setup and co-ordination of forums to manage delivery of SCT, decision making and stakeholder engagement

**Delivery**
- Support one or more transformation workstream and initiatives through the design, build and test phases
- Ensure the new solutions are deployed effectively across our business with robust and rigorous handover to our Deployment Partners
- Engage across the business/3rd Pty stakeholders to ensure business needs are captured, understood, and executed
- Input into business case creation and benefits management ensuring alignment with finance on investment spend and benefit realisation

**Work Experience & Functional/Technical Skills**
- To be successful in this role you must be detailed oriented and prepared to build a comprehensive understanding of the E2E Centrica supply chain
- You are highly independent, self-motivated, and prepared to be hands on to ‘get the job done’
- Certified in Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies from a reputable institute or organisation will be an advantage
- You are results oriented, flexible, and able to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proven experience leading change initiatives and delivering tangible business value

**Education and Certifications**
- Degree or applicable business qualifications
