As our business sets up for further growth, we need a Business Transformation Consultant to drive and embed a continuous improvement (CI) culture through coaching support of colleagues and stakeholders, provide insight for ongoing improvement opportunities and to deliver initiatives across the business. As a Business Transformation Consultant, you will also lead development with the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and CI community of practice for Group businesses and operations CI standards & assurance for governance & reporting of the CI portfolio, policies and supporting tools & methods.

**About the Role**:

- Culture - Working collaboratively with key business stakeholders to define, deliver and sustain a continuous improvement environment that supports ongoing portfolio of change
- Strategy - Develop insight in support of defining and implementing strategic customer, commercial and operational initiatives using CI methodology
- Insight & Analysis - Develop insight for customer, regulatory and operational performance and requirements to identify and drive opportunities for change
- Delivery - Work and collaborate with stakeholders across the business and Group in support of delivery of improvements and embedding the CI Culture
- Leading & Management -Lead and facilitate communications and engagement of colleagues and stakeholders
- Lead and facilitate improvement events, workshops etc with leaders, colleagues, suppliers to drive insight, identification of improvement ideas and solutions and to empower and upskill CI capabilities
- Portfolio Management - Ensure the business impact and intervention objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on and managed as required by the Group and business

**About You**:

- Experience of designing and implementing customer and operational excellence cultural change and delivery programmes using Lean Six Sigma frameworks to address customer outcome, productivity and efficiency issues, with a track record of delivery for strategic customer, commercial and operational improvements
- Experience of working in similar change or transformation leadership capacity in regulated customer service organisations with ‘direct to consumer’ / B2B products/services
- and/or Experience of working in change or transformation leadership capacity in upstream energy assets
- Influencing & Negotiation: Experience of operating at business unit and/or group senior leadership levels as well as with operational teams and colleagues to influence and successfully deliver cultural change and related improvements
- Analytics: Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer and business needs to translate them into operational and commercial improvement opportunities
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Programme & Project Management (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) are desirable

**Competencies**:

- Experience of operating in customer service operations and/or experience of operating in energy, oil and gas upstream operations
- Familiarity with market and regulatory environment in which Centrica group businesses operate
- Effective at building authentic relationships across all levels of organisation to gain support for change
- Experienced in coaching leaders and colleagues at all levels in support of personal and team development
- Derives insight and decisions based on customer needs and outcomes, operational and regulatory requirements
- Commercially astute and cognisant of operational and commercial parameters
- Collaborates across boundaries and seeks to understand others and work with them to achieve collective goals
- Comfortable with ambiguity and is comfortable delivering through insight, influence and collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues
