**Hours**:Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

**Trust Location**:South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

SLAM provides the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK, serving a local population of 1.3 million people in South London, as well as specialist services for children and adults across the UK and beyond.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Organise the booking of interpreters and translation of correspondence, where appropriate
- Administration duties such as adding referrals to the Trust patient database within 24 hours of receipt. Trace patient NHS details via the National Tracing System and. Order stationery and be responsible for the following up of orders to ensure delivery and correct receipt of stock for the team.
- Copy typing; preparing correspondence; proof reading documents; photocopying; faxing; filing; scanning; dealing with post.
- Arrange appointments and meetings as required
- Cover reception duties, if and when required, which will include assisting people in a helpful, diplomatic and tactful manner; screening and re-routing calls, as appropriate
- This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience_

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- NHS experience (highly desirable but not essential)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reception experience
- Strong organisation skills
- Fast typing speed
