**WHO ARE WE?**

MPLC is a copyright licensing company in non-theatrical licensing. We enable companies to use world-class film and television entertainment while supporting the creative industries and protecting their intellectual property.

MPLC was founded in 1986 with the goal of providing an affordable way for the public to enjoy movies, TV, and other audiovisual content outside of the home with the assurance of copyright compliance. Since the introduction of MPLC’s pioneering Umbrella Licence®, we have come a long way, now representing more than 3,000 rights holders and licensing in more than 40 countries around the world.

It is the role of our licensing team to educate businesses about copyright law and ensure they obtain our licence to screen our studio partners content.

Great content can only be made if creators are paid fairly for what they produce.

We provide a simple, affordable license to businesses and then pay royalties from our license to our rightsholders; from major Hollywood studios to local TV production companies.

We work hard to educate organisations about the importance of respecting copyright, and MPLC is a key player in the entertainment and intellectual property ecosystem.

**What's the situation?**:
Be a part of our key accounts outbound licensing team, working for new licences. A person in this role must be a strong communicator, motivated, resilient, coachable, and enjoy a challenge. This is for someone with; commitment, a positive outlook, and enjoys responsibility. Our team is built on lots of previous sales experience, cold calling, excellent written communication, and professional conduct.

- Monthly and quarterly targets that need to be met.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced changing environment.

**Benefits and disadvantages**:

- £28-30K base salary, plus commission OTE 80K

Founded in 1985 by a former vice-president of Paramount Pictures and MGM. We now have offices in 28 countries with our headquarters split between the UK and USA. Our UK home is in Eastbourne Sussex, and in the USA we are based, as you might expect, in Los Angeles next to many of the Hollywood studios that we represent.
