HR & Recruitment Administrator

Date Posted: 08/08/2023ACS International Schools is looking for a HR & Recruitment Administrator to join the HR team.
This role provides HR administration support to UK managers and staff and recruitment support to the recruitment team, applicants, and staff. It ensures ACS is compliant with UK employment and ISI regulations and is responsible for day-to-day delivery of HR processes and administration. This role will include travel between all three UK campuses, with a particular focus on supporting our Egham and Hillingdon schools.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Ensures the accurate and timely updating of the HR information system (iTrent) and the Single Central Register (SCR), including all changes of employee personal information, salary changes, benefits, etc.
- Processes and monitors security clearance checks including Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks, international overseas police checks, reference checks and documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Screening applicants to ACS job adverts when required
- Creating and posting job adverts to recruitment platforms
- Ensuring all job platforms are up-to-date
- Manages internal compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
- Ensures company compliance with all employment law legislative requirements (e.g. ‘right to work in the UK’, DBS checks, Data Protection, ISI data and inspections, etc.).

- Computer literate with the ability to use MAC/ Windows package and HR database systems.
- Respects and adheres to confidentiality and data protection.
- Proactive approach in identifying improvements and efficiencies in HR processes and paperwork.
- Looks for opportunities to develop a level of expertise and capability.
- Able to work autonomously when required but also collaboratively across the HR Team.
**Professional Experience**:
- Experience of working in an administration role and/ or support function in a multi-functional, customer focused environment.
- Previous experience working in a busy HR team in the education or a similar sector and with iTrent HR system would be advantageous.
- CIPD qualified/part-qualified or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Good knowledge of employment law is desirable.
**Start Date**: ASAP
**Hours of Work**:8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday*
- The role can be offered on a permanent full time (35 hours per week) or part time basis, dependant on suitable applicant availability.
**Location**:This role will predominantly be based at our Egham Campus however, travel may be required to Hillingdon and Cobham to support the wider HR admin team, when necessary.
