**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE -HYBRID - SALARY £45,000 - £50,000**
PERTEMPS present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our client who are one of the leaders in the Healthcare Industry.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate Business Development Executive with experience of proactively generating, nurturing and following through on sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.
LOCATION - Birmingham - Travel UK Wide
**THE ROLE**:

- Identify sales opportunities with new and existing clients across the UK
- Research and conduct targeted and tailored business development approaches
- Create and execute a daily outbound call and/or written sales plan, produce and issue sales material
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of in-sourcing services to confidently articulate the full breadth of features, benefits, and outcomes and make relevant internal introductions
- Identify new and growth prospects by immersing yourself in the industry and networking widely in person and digitally
- Collaborate with colleagues and the leadership team to explore ideas for new initiatives and ensure any client enquiries are fully addressed and processed
- Be a proactive company ambassador, promoter, and contributor on LinkedIn
- To go on client visits build and strengthen client relationships, as well as service knowledge
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events where required

**THE PERSON**:

- Good standard of general education backed by a record of continuing professional development
- Outbound B2B sales experience is essential, ideally within Secondary Care Healthcare sector with 3 years+ experience
- The ability to read tender specification is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good all-round IT skills and previous experience using a CRM system
- Ability to prioritise work and adapt positively to changing priorities
- Able to work independently and autonomously when required
- Excellent numeracy skills for accurate and speedy calculation of sales prices, discounts, and percentages
- Formal sales and/or marketing training would be highly desirable

As a Business Development Executive, you will have a passion for sales and client management, and thrive on working to sales targets and goals and must have:

- Initiative and self-motivation and possess a commercial mindset
- Be capable of working to challenging deadlines and managing multiple tasks
- Diligent, tenacious, persistent, and balanced
- Ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
