Want to be part of this? We’re currently recruiting for a **Tenancy Services Officer **to join our Tenancy Services team.
**What you’ll achieve in the role**:
The focus of this role is on working proactively with customers to manage and maintain their tenancies successfully, in particular by completing sign-ups in person and online, and tenancy visits to ensure needs are met. We will also count on you to deal with tenancy changes and minor breaches, working with other teams to ensure compliance. You’ll encourage mobility and work with others to deliver attractive estates. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the work of the Tenancy Services Manager to work with partners on regeneration schemes and neighbourhood improvement
- Use customer insight to plan and help improve services and support residents to manage tenancies well
- Take the lead to manage issues relating to tenancy law, including lettings, successions, abandonments and mutual exchange
- Provide the link between the Income and Tenancy Enforcement teams, dealing with complex end-of-tenancy issues and empty properties as a result of evictions
- Manage new development handovers, help embed Fixed-Term Tenancies and implement Raven’s rights and responsibilities programme
**What you’ll bring to Raven**:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience of managing tenancies
- Strong experience of working as part of an effective team and with the public
- An awareness of the role and responsibilities of Raven Housing Trust to its customers and in particular to those living within our communities.
- An understanding of the housing management and tenancy-related needs of vulnerable people and, in particular, older people.
- An understanding of equality issues and excellent customer care
- impressive interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
You will also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively, and caring about making things better.
DBS clearance will be required for this role.
