An experienced Quality Assurance Advisor is required to work on a contract to permanent basis with one of our major clients on their Gas Transmission projects, therefore quality experience on gas pipelines or AGIs is essential.

Salary circa £40,000 depending on experience.

**Requirements**:

- A formal qualification in Quality Management required e.g. Diploma BSI, ISO or similar
- Must have a good understanding of ITPs and experience in writing ITPs
- Experience of checking the quality of materials, plans and documentation
- Preferably trained as Lead Auditor and/or Internal Auditor
- Experience of managing and developing Business Management Systems, implementation and ongoing management including auditing, non-conformance management and accreditation review
- Experience in BMS Implementation
- Experience in the production of processes, documentation and forms
- Understanding of client requirements and ability to provide guidance and awareness to a multi-disciplined organisation
- Ability to be self-motivated whilst working remotely
- Ability and experience of completing onsite visual audits of materials, documentation etc.

Some of the duties and responsibilities:

- Responsible for assessing the procedural requirements for quality assurance matters
- Establish, monitor and be responsible for the effective implementation and development of the Framework Business Management System (BMS)
- Working with technical leads to ensure the BMS is correctly implemented
- Production of Forms and Processes
- Reporting to the Management Team on performance and overall effectiveness of the BMS
- Ensuring systems and processes are in place and implemented for delivering products “right first time” and drive towards “defect free” culture and environment
- Providing leadership on quality matters to the delivery team.
- Ensuring that quality plans and associated processes are in place to deliver right first time to client specification and provide training and support as required to ensure this is delivered
- Ensuring the quality processes meet the requirements of the BMS
- Ensuring systems are in place that allows the required specification to be clearly agreed and delivered with our clients technical representatives, project, sub-contractor supply chain
- Undertaking audits to monitor quality procedures are being followed.
- Supporting the delivery of project and business stream quality programs and actions
- Support delivery teams in the use of the Quality Systems on site.
- Lead, support, inform and encourage the team in the use of the BMS (training, mentoring and appraisal)
