We are looking for a skilled and experienced Internal Quality Assessor to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work with a college in Cambridge, covering campuses in both Cambridge and Huntingdon.

About the Role

As an Internal Quality Assessor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the success of the learner journey. With your expertise in engineering and knowledge of standards required by awarding bodies, you will:

  1. Support the Work-Based Learning Manager in maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  2. Contribute to internal Quality Assurance strategies and activities.
  3. Coordinate and prepare for external quality assurance visits and End Point Assessments.

You will report directly to the Work-Based Learning Manager and collaborate closely with the Head of the Engineering Department and Quality Leads within the team.

Requirements
  • Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification is essential for this role.
  • A relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in training and assessing within an Engineering environment.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our Engineering department.
