Aerospace Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a short-term contract with a leading aerospace client in Cambridge.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting independent audits as required by the audit schedule to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ensuring the quality management system has been implemented and maintained.
  • Investigating quality failures, identifying trends, and assisting CA/PA owners in determining root cause and monitoring containment, corrective, and preventative actions.
  • Liaising with customer representatives and assisting production departments with quality matters.
  • Processing applications for personnel approvals prior to submission to the Head of Quality.

Requirements:

  • AS9100 certification.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing and Engineering systems and processes ideally in aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
  • Auditing and Assessment processes and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that rates advertised are Umbrella rates as the role is inside IR35.
