Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Ring Smart Lighting products.

About the Role

$105,000 - $130,000 per year

This is a full-time position based in our company headquarters. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, develop test plans and cases, and collaborate on release timelines.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on release timelines and test readiness.
  2. Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
  3. Evaluate and improve team methodologies for implementing, testing, and deploying software solutions.
  4. Prepare and distribute test reports and release readiness reports for stakeholder review.
  5. Contribute to QA support functions, including triage, issue resolution, and production release testing.
Requirements
  • Experience working with development teams to understand requirements and communicate impact of issues.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with test case management tools, issue management tools, and development environments.
  • Knowledge of wireless connectivity technologies, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee.
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
