Environmental Coordinator

- Role will be based in Welland (LE17) & Tyseley

Monday to Friday 08:30- 17:00- 40 hours per week.

My client is an independent engineering and operational services company operating in the renewable power sector. They specialise in the consulting, engineering, delivery and operation of renewable energy technology and solutions.

We are currently looking for an environmental coordinator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

The role will be primarily based from either the Welland (LE17) or Tyseley facilities, travel to both is required, all travel will be in working hours so no additional hours are normally required. Both sites are energy from waste facilities, processing non recyclable materials, while generating electricity which is distributed back to the national grid.

Reporting into the quality and environmental manager, you will undertake some of the following responsibilities:

- Perform routine environmental compliance audits/inspections. Record results.
- Ensure any environmental incidents are logged onto our recording systems promptly.
- Produce monthly environmental KPIs for internal/external use.
- Assist with compiling reports for internal and external use.
- Maintain quality and environmental management system documentation.
- Receive and log incoming environmental reports.
- Perform quality and environmental checks on suppliers.

- Literacy skills
- A willingness to travel to Welland and Tyseley (potentially other locations too)
- Interest or experience in environmental management
