**The Opportunity**

EPCC is the UK’s leading centre for Supercomputing and Data Science expertise, offering world-class education and training that includes postgraduate degrees at MSc and PhD level. Based in the Bayes Centre, you will be part of a small team who help and support each other to provide an exceptional student experience. The post-holder will fulfil the role of Student Advisor as well as being Team Lead for teaching administration. You will join us at an exciting time as our education and training programmes are expanding. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a unique organisation and help us to ensure that EPCC continues to provide the very best support for our diverse community of students.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Educated to HNC/HND level, or equivalent related experience
- Good administrative, organisational and IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - the ability to remain calm and centre the needs of the student, being able to provide a safe and welcoming space for students in distress
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to the complex areas of student support Experience of working independently and ability to prioritise workloads in the face of conflicting demands
