**Job Description**:

- Reporting to the SVP, Marketing & Communication Officer De Beers Jewellers, the Head of Brand & Content, DBJ plays a key global role in collaborating with the Product Marketing team, the Communication team, as well as the De Beers Jewellers senior leadership in HQ and Markets.

The Brand and Content team are responsible for delivering globally recognizable, elevated and distinctive brand assets to create long term awareness and desire for De Beers Jewellers and its Products.

Bringing both brand strategy and a creative team together, the team’s primary goal is to catch the attention of target clients, ignite desire for the brand and its collections, and tell the brand story through exceptional content.

As guardians of the brand, you and your team are driven by outstanding creativity, ensuring coherence across all assets so the brand platform continuously resonates globally in the luxury jewellery space.
- Understand key consumer trends and insights to support the development of the Business plan and of the 3 and 5 year Global Marketing Plan. Gathers inputs from Product Marketing for key needs e.g. NPD timing, target consumer, impact it should have on the brand (in the 3-year plan), then integrate the specific Product launches (as specified by Product Marketing) into the yearly plan.
- Own the Brand DNA & Codes, brand character and tone of voice. Support the Head of Marketing Strategy and Planning in setting the KPI’s for tracking brand health and performance, and work with the Insights team to provide actionable tacking against brand health KPI’s.
- With the SVP Marketing, DBJ, own the Brand Identity and brand platform, and ensure consistency across touchpoints and markets. All branded materials and assets must be approved by the SVP Marketing, DBJ.
- Develop the brand proposition - and articulate the messaging across relevant fascias.
- Lead the creation of the brand advertising campaign and all the content development to ensure it brings to life the brand and product strategy and drives fame and desire for the brand and its collections. The production of the assets will be led by the team reporting to you.
- Manage the brand creation budget to ensure projects are delivered at the most effective cost and quality.
- Ensure brand consistency

**Qualifications**:

- Significant experience in a similar role leading a Luxury Jewellery brand globally in HQ or at agency level.
- Relevant qualifications desirable.
- Attention to detail, understanding and appreciation for craftsmanship and luxury
- Quickly identifies the critical issues despite working with complex data and takes into account the broader and long-term implications.
- Balances systematic analysis with the ability to make difficult decisions.
- Applies creativity and innovative thinking to produce sustainable solutions.
- Ability to identify brand content / PR opportunities and develop these into tangible assets quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to create third party competitive tender and contract management infrastructures.
- Creative and strategic thinker with creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
- Understanding of luxury category key competitors
- Some domestic and international travel is required.
- Awareness of the business landscape and appreciation of the commercial environment in which they work.
