**What you’ll be doing**:

- Supporting the execution of determined Category Strategies in collaboration with other functions and wider business network
- Supporting the development of effective Supplier Strategies in collaboration with other functions and wider business network
- Working alongside Engineering and other functions to support the implementation of our NGMS category strategies
- Driving our sourcing plans to ensure business and supply continuity
- Developing effective strategic relationships with suppliers in category
- Working alongside Procurement Programme Managers and Procurement Delivery Team to implement agreed Category & Supplier Strategies
- Identifying, Reporting and Mitigating Category and Supplier Risks
- Pursuing cost reduction and avoidance opportunities, working with Multifunctional teams
- Leading supplier approval and onboarding process in collaboration with Supplier Quality Team and other functional support areas as required

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Degree qualified or equivalent level of education
- CIPS qualified (must be willing to work towards if this is not held)
- Experience with Procurement Sourcing
- Experience with Procurement strategy
- Experience within singular organisations

Desirable:

- Legal contracting experience
- Managing RFQ activities

This can allow for quick development opportunities. This team are responsible for carrying out activities around supplier engagement, managing RFQ’s, sourcing new business and influencing the direction of how the sourcing is achieved.
