Job description

ACT Credit Management Ltd are a fast-growing collections agency based in Glasgow City Centre and are looking to add Customer Engagement Agentsto our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our company at a time of exponential growth and there will be several opportunities for training and development.

**Starting salary of £22,500 with opportunities for realistic monthly bonus (£200pm) if targets are met.**

**37.5 hour per week**:

- shifts are between the following hours:

- Monday to Friday : 8:00am - 8pm
- Saturday : 10:00am - 4pm

e.g. 09:00am to 17:30pm or 11:30am - 8pm

The majority of our shifts are between 9am and 5:30pm, Mon-Fri

**The Role**

You will be responsible for recovering and resolving overdue debts which are owed to our clients, in a compliant and ethical manner.

You will be working within a busy, fast paced environment, responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**

Experience of working within a Collection/ Credit Control role or call centre experience is desirable.

Knowledge of collections industry, including FCA, CSA, and TCF guidelines would be advantageous.

A good level of education such as National 5’s, GCSE’s, SVQ’s etc.

**Core Competencies**
- You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with customers professionally and calmly.
- You will be IT literate with experience of using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Outlook and Word.
- You will be able to deal with vulnerable customers and ensure appropriate action is taken
- You will be able to prioritise your workload, be organised and efficient
- You will have a flexible approach with the capability to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure
- You will be able to integrate within a team and able to work on your own initiative

Due to the nature of our business, we will require a clear criminal and financial background checks and provide and full and satisfactory references.
