**About the role**:
Elephant Rock Hotel is the newest addition to the developing seaside town of Portrush. With stunning sea views and immaculate interior design, Elephant Rock is an opportunity for talented and passionate restaurant and bar staff to make their mark. Within the hotel, there is a 30 seater restaurant, cocktail bar and terrace.

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated, enthusiastic F&B Supervisor to join our team. You will assist with the management of all day-to-day-operational issues relating to the food & beverage service within Elephant Rock. We are seeking someone with a passion for hospitality, in particular customer service and the ambition to progress.

**The main duties will include but are not limited to**;
- Consistently provide a friendly and efficient service to all visiting guests.
- Having full and complete knowledge of the menu, enabling you to assist with any guest or customer queries.
- Supervising the F&B team ensuring that all are well trained and daily duties are clearly outlined.
- Maintaining standards set by management
- Covering Senior Managers days off
- Demonstrating effective communication skills and work in a professional manner with all guests, customers, and colleagues.
- Monitoring team members to ensure all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations are observed.
- Participating in regular team meetings.
- Reporting any guest or operational issues to Senior Management.
- Using the restaurant till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly.
- Updating the restaurant till systems when necessary with prices, products and other functions.
- Carrying out opening and closing procedures, including till reconciliations and other key holder duties.
- Monitoring stock levels and completing orders.
- Making sure you and your teams’ personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required standards at all times.
- Attending any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
- Aiding the personal development of your team.

**The Person**:
**Applicants must**:

- Have a passion for hospitality.
- Have experience in carrying out opening and closing procedures of a restaurant and or bar including till reconciliations and other key holder duties.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team.
- Have exemplary attention to detail.
- Be performance-driven and focused on implementing a culture of excellent customer service.
- Excellent planning and organisation abilities.
- Be able to work well while under pressure, hands on approach and show initiative whilst multi-tasking.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work early mornings, lunchtime, evening shifts, and weekends.

**Desirable**:

- Have at least 1 year’s supervisory experience in a restaurant and/or bar.
- Experience in cocktail making.
- Barista trained.
