Training Facilitator

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
We are recruiting a Training Facilitator for our Enniskillen branch. The successful applicant will work from our Enniskillen Branch, but will, from time to time, be expected to travel to our Omagh branch also.
The successful applicant will:
- Ensure the timely delivery of relevant approved/accredited training to all NWCare Community Care Staff in order to meet organisational and legislative requirements.
**DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the delivery of training as required in line with the induction standards for all new community care staff
- Delivery of continual professional development and educational training and specific on-going training in line with identified development areas and specific contractual requirements
- Remain informed and up to date about changes in legislation, guidance and recommendations from Government and other key agencies, not limited to the Department of Health
- Assist with on-going course design and the updating and evaluation of courses, when required
- Ensuring all external and internal quality procedures, contractual and legislative standards are met
- Ensuring all training delivered is always effective and delivered to a high standard
- To deliver, as required, bespoke and specialist training in accordance with your own skills and competencies to meet current legislative requirements and workforce development
- To act as a point of reference for all staff where training support is required and to also ensure effective dissemination of information to staff as appropriate.
- To carry out supervision visits of staff during their probationary period and participate in final probationary review meetings
- To liaise with Human Resources and Line Managers in the event of staff underperformance
- To work within GDPR legislation
**ESSENTIAL**:
**QUALITY AND TRAINING**:
QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above
**EXPERIENCE**:
Previous teaching/training eperience within Health and Social Care
**REGISTRATION**:
Registered with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) and/or registered with NMC (Nuring Midwifery Council)
**KNOWLEDGE**:
Provides evidence of past personal and professional development
Provides evidence of knowledge of RQIA minimum standards
Evidence of high standard of accuracy in previous roles
- Flexibility in working hours to meet business needs
**DESIRABLE**:
**EXPERIENCE**:
Registered Nurse
QCF Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care
Qualified workplace tutor/assessor in Health and Social Care
CIT cert in teaching or equivalent/above
