As Home Lead you will be an experienced and/or highly motivated individual with the enthusiasm and empathy to support young adults with Autism and associated challenging behaviours as they make the journey into adult life.

You will ensure the highest quality of service is provided for our students through their person centred pathway transition plans and that staff are encouraged and supported to achieve and exceed their full potential; addressing any staffing approaches that differ from those set by the Senior Leadership Team.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- To be responsible for the overall management of your allocated home within whilst ensuring that you offer support and guidance to staff from across all areas of the College, promoting a ‘one team’ approach.
- To work under the guidance and direction of the Registered Manager and in collaboration with fellow seniors and enablers in order to achieve and maintain high professional standards of support and training. Including the supervision and appraisal of residential staff under your line management.
- To lead the residential home enabling Residential Education Workers to respond effectively and sensitively to the broad ranging and often complex social, emotional, educational and recreational needs of young adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, within residential & educational environments.
- To lead on the supervision and appraisal of Senior/Residential Education Workers under your line management. You will also be responsible for the induction, training and the ongoing training development of your supervisees. You will also be responsible for the facilitation of staff meetings and ensure that minutes are recorded and actions monitored.
