Sessional Family Time Workers

**The role**:
The role will involve covering Family Time sessions. Successful applicants will supervise Family Time for children are no longer living with their biological family and where it is paramount that these children continue to have positive relationships with members of their family, unless this would place them at risk. Your role wold ensure the safety and positive family times are taking place in accordance with court and child's wishes.
Within the Families First team you will work alongside the social work teams to review and provide high quality family time which will ensure the safety and welfare of children and young people whilst maintaining their family relationships and identity. You will work within the family time team where you will be provided with regular supervision, access to direct line management, training and support so you are best equipped to undertake the role confidently and effectively. You will be expected to work flexibly, and hours of work will include afternoons, early evenings, occasional weekend working and throughout the school holidays where demand for the service increases, in response to children in care plans.

**Key Information**
**Essential Qualifications**: A minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in Social Care, Child Development or equivalent
**Base**: Warrington Time Square Office (mixture of working from children and community centres across the town, office and home)
**Working Hours**: Dependent on the needs of the service and up to 37 hours per week. We envision this to be regular hours with a minimum of 3 per week to cover staff holiday leave and training with increased hours at peak times of demand including school holidays and from the hour of 3pm onwards.
DBS clearance is required.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for this post.
