Job Title: Warrington Supervised Contact / Respite Worker

About the Role:
The role entails contact supervision or providing short respite services. For the supervision aspect of the role, this involves supervising contact between children and their extended family network where this supervision is deemed essential by the courts to protect the child from suffering ongoing substantial harm or risks. You will provide formal written evidential reports to guardians, social workers, managers, and the courts to inform decision making on the individual's child's future care arrangements.

For the respite aspect of the role, you will take the child out into the community or provide respite within the home environment to allow carers a break from day-to-day care. This includes supporting the young person in an activity and ensuring their basic needs are being met.

This is a full-time temporary contract, with varying shift lengths available.

Vacancy Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a driving license with business insurance (though this is not essential). A Child and Adult DBS on the update service would be preferred but can be completed with ourselves if necessary. Previous experience in a similar role is also required, as is a reference covering the last 3 years.

Benefits:
The salary for this role is £17.50 per hour, dependent on shift length, and there are opportunities for professional development in a supportive and challenging environment.
