About the Role

The role of a Warrington Supervised Contact / Respite Worker involves contact supervision or providing short respite services.

As a contact supervisor, you will supervise interactions between children and their extended family network where necessary, protecting them from harm.

You will provide written reports to inform decision-making on a child's future care arrangements.

In supervised contact sessions, you will intervene when necessary and facilitate safe interactions.

In respite services, you will support children in activities outside of their home environment or within it, allowing carers to take breaks.

Vacancy Criteria
  • Driving with business insurance is preferred but not essential.
  • A valid Child and Adult DBS (with update service) is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is necessary.
  • NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent is desirable.
  • References covering the last 3 years are required.
