Receptionist - Fixed Term Contract

The Jaq. Group is a fast-moving company which has experienced considerable growth over the last year. The role of Receptionist is to greet and keep track of all visitors coming in and out of the building and also to assist with Goods Inwards.
**Key Tasks include**:
- Greet and assist all visitors on arrival in a friendly and positive manner
- Direct visitors to appropriate departments/offices ensuring they sign in/out in the visitors book
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times, with all parcels distributed to their designated areas in a timely manner
- Keep reception area stocked with all necessary stationery and materials along with ordering office supplies and keeping an inventory log
- Receive, sort and distribute mail and deliveries to correct personnel
- Monitor incoming visitors to include agency staff members, ensuring they are in for correct shifts etc
- Maintain office security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks and monitoring access to the building
- Providing customer service assistance/catering requirements where necessary
- Update calendars and schedules
- Arrange travel and accommodations where necessary
- Perform other receptionist duties
- Service the primary point of contact for employees/couriers/agency staff
- Process deliveries and liasing with couriers ensuring all documentation is received and completed by both parties
- Support other departments with tasks as required
- Undertake any other duties as required, that are within the competence of the post.
**General**

- You must co-operate with others on health and safety policies and procedures.
- You must comply with the no smoking policy.
**Hours of work**:
Hours of work will be 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month
**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
