**Job Summary**:
Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Accounts based)

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Wage Administration**:
     -     Maintain payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and deductions.

     -     Calculate and process sub-contractor & employee wages/overtime on a weekly basis.

     -     Address any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies from employees in a timely manner.

     -     Liaise & report all information to the accountant & ensure records are kept

**2. CIS Compliance**:
     -     Verify subcontractors' CIS status with the accountant and maintain accurate records of subcontractor payments and deductions.

     -     Liaise with subcontractors and resolve any CIS-related queries or issues.

**3. Financial Data Entry and Reporting**:
     -     Raise client invoices on Sage software.

     -     Maintain organised filing system for easy retrieval of documents.

     -     Send all business invoices & receipts to accountant on a monthly basis.

     -     Maintain job costing spreadsheets on Excel to accurately track costs of each project.

**4. Administrative Support**:
     -     Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager, including filing, scanning, and organising documents digitally.

     -     Track trade credit accounts & ensure balances are reported to the office manager for payment.

**Skills**:
     -     Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.

     -     High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.

     -     Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with the Office Manager and external parties.

     -     Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). This role requires a lot of Excel work so computer literacy is essential.

     -     Knowledge of Sage accounting software is a plus.

     -     An interest in the construction industry.

**Further Details**:
We are flexible on the working hours of this role, but would be looking for 20-25 hours per week across 4-5 days (Must be available Mondays & Fridays).

Salary £24,000 per annum (Pro-rata based on 40 hour week)
